SEARCHING FOR INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR LEMKO RELATIVES WHO WERE DEPORTED FROM POLAND TO UKRAINE IN 1944-1946?              We can help!
The Lemko Research Foundation has recently took part in publishing the second of three volumes of records by Yaroslava Galyk, "Книга пам'ять Лемкивщини 1944-1946," or "The Memory Book of the Lemko Land 1944-1946." These books contain the names of tens of thousands of individuals who are listed according to their original Lemko villages, with full names and patronyms, year of birth, family relationships within households, and the Ukrainian oblast to which they were resettled. These records were obtained from the original resettlement lists which are filed in the L'viv Oblast Archives, and were painstakingly compiled by Dr. Galyk.
